The Tote Bag

Say hello to your work staple! Tote bags are great when you’re in college or university. They’re also great when working from home, in an office, a coffee shop or freelancing. That’s because they’re strong, multifaceted, and keep you looking fashionable on the go.

It’s worth noting that Tote bags, due to their resistant quality, can last many years. Since that’s the case it’s worth your investment splurging on a high quality brand that won’t peel, fade or tear easily.

Secure the bag on my Pinterest board when you shop for your next 30 days of 30 outfits!

Meeting with elite clients and corporate giants, I learned there’s a car you drive when you’re about to seal a big deal, and your everyday car. These Tote bags are a combinations of the 2. But mostly they’re great for carrying your work projects, portfolios, client agreements and all kinds of documents. Okay occasionally throw in a coffee while on the run.

This bag is your workhorse; trusted and needed for everything in your productive life. Although Tote bags feel like they hold your life together, they don’t have to be boring! Bring your personality through the colour, design or pattern.

The Backpack

The Backpack is a great unconventional luggage bag! You can also call this one of your behind-the-scenes bag like the Tote Bag. That’s because it’s ideal for travelling between client projects, my full-time job and girls night.

Your solution to an ambitious life packed in 1 day. Backpacks can do it for you! Especially if it has dividers included in the design; you can carry both documents, your laptop and change of clothes.

The Influencer Age names Bob OrĂ© the official luxury handbag that celebrities and influencers can’t get enough of!

Talk about productive multitasking. Well the bag that is! It’s super great for those busy days when you find yourself running between cities, buildings and cars. Plus it’s added bonus is they don’t swing around bumping into people. This makes backpacks the perfect travel companion on your busiest days.

Depending on the level of work you’re doing, carrying a Tote bag and backpack actually balances the weight of stuff you’re carrying and need. It’s a no Brainer for work from home moms, freelancers, vloggers or content creators. For added protection, I lock mine with TSA approved padlocks; literally nothing will get past you.

The Belt Bags

I’m going to be honest about the belt bags. They’re like some clutches, small shoulder bags and cross bags; perfect for a quick run to the grocery story or casual hangout with friends.

Again you want a belt bag with several divers because that is a life saver! Always keep some kind of payment like cash or your Sams Club  card. Keep your lipgloss, a transit card and toiletries in one of the dividers. And having dividers means no accidental spills!

You know what I’m talking about; when your feminine products fall out. Dividers will save your life. Then again investing in a small toiletry purse will save your life.

The Bucket Bag

Think bottomless space for everything. If you tend to carry a lot of stuff like your hair brush, makeup set, hair curler, and maybe a tweezer or two, bucket bags are your best friend! They are your ride or die because of how spacious they are.

They’re also light on your shoulders because of the adjustable straps allowing you to adjust the weight and balance. If you feel much better having your staple hair supplies and makeup go with you wherever, bucket bags give you that freedom.

Trust me it’s more reassuring to have your brush in case of a freak wind or rain blowing up your hair. Buckets just do it for those days when you need a Lil of everything in your bag.

The Shoulder Bag

Remember how I said the Tote Bag is your workhorse, well the shoulder bag is what you bring to the important signing! It’s the bag you bring to a tender meeting that you know you’ve got it. Think of this how many CEOs walk in the piles of papers and chunky bags? That’s why a small shoulder bag, with a neat, small and seamless leather folder will set you apart.

Be strategic by carrying both a portfolio folder and shoulder bag to look more executive in your entry level job. Ideally the smaller the better, I like to have a shoulder bag along with my portfolio leather folder. Entering a room with minimalist items sets the tone of you you want your clients to be.

And small seamless bags will do just that. There’s nothing more defeating that clamering around your big bag for documents, pens or anything really. That’s why small bag should be your choice you enter an important room with. Even interviews; you want to demonstrate your professionalism by carrying a leather portfolio folder with a small bag. Show you mean business.

Shoulder Bags part 2

Then again small crossbody bags or shoulder bags are fun, playful and great for dates or a girls night out! What better way to celebrate your win in the boardroom than calling the girls for a night out. Again it’s perfect if your outfit says “I just won the deal,” in there.

And that’s why design, pattern or colour is everything in a shoulder bag. Take your Chanel bag for your big client meeting, and your Sunflower bag for a casual date.

Shoulder Bag are great for outings, festivals, farmers markets and any casual event. They suit most dresses   or clothes making them the made-in-heaven partner for beat dresses! They’re a great staple especially if you have friends or family who love calling to go out.
