Why did this happen Lord! Is a cry in pain many of you may have experienxed. The death of a loved one especially something innocent and small can cause such heartbreaking pain. Some experience a malicious and violent confrontation that leaves them devastated. I don’t know what pain you need God to cover, but allow Jehovah Rapha to cover you and remove all wounds. Allow El Roi to be your place of comfort when the world seems dark. God will hold you and hide you under His wings. God will heal you and here’s why not to lose faith.
I don’t know what kind of pain you’ve experienced or are experincing now. I know like many of you, you’ve experienced the fall of man. Without God, the wickedness of man runs like an unquenchable fire. It’s darkness consumes like them like a rotting meat that has no end. It’s flesh causes a stench that bleeds into every corner.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Psalms 34:18 NIV
The malicious actions of men can leave you crying for 3 hours, calling out to the heavens why such an unspeakable thing can happen. I’ve been there, and I’m sure some of you have experienced worse. Where you thought surely this moment will take every bit of strength you had and your heart would bleed out without end.

However, I pray God immediately holds you in His cloud of comfort during those Gut wrenching moments. I pray that the Jesus who has come in the flesh, covers you with His blood and peace and love. I pray for you that you experience an unimaginable covering of the holy spirit in those moments.
This life will bring you joy and grief, and sometimes in the same season
Some heartbreaking circumstances due to the violence and wickedness of men can cause you to cry for days. You thought seeing and experiencing such unimaginable wickedness would lead to days of mourning and pain, but I pray God immediately holds you. I pray you experience an immediate comfort from your Reedemer who’s able and will heal your every wound.
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Psalms 147:3 NIV
Let Him wash your of any malicious memories. You may want to curl up in your bed and cry till a hole drops you out of your bed. You may want your tears to burn into the mattrestss, and go after whatever injustice you experiences. You may also want these tears to simultaneously reach the throne of God.
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
Psalms 34:17 NIV
Pour your tears out on the throne of the Alpha and Omega and bot the former. God will immediately hold you washing away every memory of devastation like a roaring and ferocious rain.
I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak, but the sleek and the strong I will destroy. I will shepherd the flock with justice.
Ezekiel 34:16 NIV
Lament & pour your heart out
Even when God holds you, it’s okay to process your grief. Its okay for you to sit up from your bed and cry no!Just certain many of you have cried; “Lord let me cry because I need to lament Lord. I need to cry over this wickedness.” Some of you have witnesses egregious acts and you need to process the grief. Let your tears flood at the throne of God because He hears your every plea.
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Psalms 73:26 NIV
Grieving will look different for many of us. I didn’t eat for days, and one morning I prayed for 3 hours. God has assured us that we have the right to lament, so pour your heart to the heavens. Following whatever the 3 hours of prayer, I wanted to go further, but I knew it would turn from lamenting to something outside of God. So I returned back into His wings where He removed the shackles of this malicious memory and gave me rest.
Lord, you have seen the wrong done to me. Uphold my cause!
Lamentations 3:59 NIV
You’re a child of the Most High God. Yes you won’t win every battle you face; even those with magnifying violence and unspeakable maliscoousness. Those battles are the worst to confront, and they feel especially brutal to lose.
You, Lord, took up my case; you redeemed my life.
Lamentations 3:58 NIV
They’re the most brutal to lose when you’ve prayed with such fervent prayer. They’re especially brutal to see when you’ve fasted and cried on your knees pleading for mercy and justice on this situation.
Allow God to Hold you
I cannot speak to your heartbreak because you’ve got a burden to carry in this life. However, know that when God moves to hold you, wash away the pain and erase whatever violence you experience, take it.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10 NIV
Accept the love of God’s presence during those unimaginable times in your life. That’s because you’ve won countless battles on account of Christ. And even if you didn’t get the prayer you wanted that could have saved an innocent life, prevented a death, accident or robbery, you’ve won a greater battle.
Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.
Lamentations 3:22 NIV
It’s ironic that my pastor said the devil will steal your faith because that’s the greatest weapon against him. And my pastor is right. When you’re in the midst of such deepening pain, but God immediately covers you, erasing the smells or things you saw believe God will never leave you nor forsake you.
Let Gods holy love give you comfort and help you forgive
God is close to the broken hearted. He is close with you in your time of pain and heartbreak. Allow Him to carry you through this passage. And no matter how long you need to go for counseling and prayer, do it for you. Your faith is far greater than the malicious actions of man or this world.
For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to anyone.
Lamentations 3:33 NIV
There’s no way of telling your future, I know. I wanted to bad a sign warning me of what was to come, but then you’d live in fear. And God has not given us a heart of fear. In the midst of commotion and loss, trust that God’s peace means He is protecting you, healing you and washing away these pains. Do not allow the chains of depression to hold you down.
who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
2 Corinthians 1:4 NIV
Remember Christ has already conquered all your burdens at the cross. So following the third day at midnight, I had to acknowledge how far God has taken me. I believe even for you, God hasn’t brought you this far to leave you powerless in the face of injustice. I encourage you to acknowledged that God will erase the events from your heart. He will diminish the pain. I thanked Him for taking away this pain with immediate effect because He is the Most High God who hears your every cry.
Truth is you’ll face good and bad times
Secondly it’s been a harsh season. There’s also no telling how often you’ll face climate or economic hardships. Economic depressions does things to people. Some people turn to the most evil intentions you can ever see.
But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.
1 John 2:11 NIV
They’re walking in darkness. Yet in the face of adversity, God has comes countless times with His Mighty spirit. The week before this atrocity, I was thinking God I want to see you fight! How does your armour look like God.
But the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will fail and be thoroughly disgraced; their dishonor will never be forgotten.

Is Your Armour gold Luke those pinterest posts I love so much? Lord I love you. People will turn against you, do harm and be malicious, but wow my Lord has loved me and came like a Lion protecting its cubs. I’m the child of the Most High God.
It’s hard when you’re falling in love with Gods power and such atrocities fall into your path. It’s hard. However like an said previously men are not puppets. When a man acts selfishly, they act outside of the commands of God.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Ephesians 6:12 NIV
Forgiving those who walk in darkness
They walk in darkness. And you have a God who experienced humans unkindness. There was a time in John when Jesus said to return to a place where they wanted to stone Him. His disciples replied that it’s not safe. There’s a double meaning to that verse. On the human eyes it wasn’t safe because of the people who wanted to stone God.
Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours of daylight? Anyone who walks in the daytime will not stumble, for they see by this world’s light. It is when a person walks at night that they stumble, for they have no light.”
John 11:9-10 NIV
However, spiritually when God was talking about 12 hours in day, He also meant the darkness of man. The sin within people causes people to walk in darkness. Yet those who walk with Jesus will walk in light. For you when you experience heartbreak, know it’s the actions of people walking in darkness. Yet when you choose to hide in God’s Holy Wings, you’re resting in an eternal Light that will heal.
Even in laughter the heart may ache, and rejoicing may end in grief.
Proverbs 14:13 NIV
Do not let the devil steal your faith. Cry for 3 days of you must. Cry for a day if you need it. However, when God immediately wishes all you’ve witnessed, no matter God aggregious, lean into His glory. Lean into the goodness of His love. In those moments He’s not the Most High God.
He’s your father and as a father loves His child, allow Him to care for you and heal you. Believe like the leper believe. Believe like the soldier from Capanaum believed. Believed like the bleeding woman believed. They did not need to get a physical sign, but by the power of His words were they healed.
You’re a Child of the Most High God
You won’t win every battle. It’s the unfortunate reality you know because you’re not in the garden of Eden. However, believe that God’s love is unquenchable and that when you forgive, God’s justice will prevail where needed.
And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
Romans 5:5 NIV
I hope you learn how to ve strong and courageous even in the most dire situations. When you forgive during the most unforgiving season, God’s justice might turn wicked hearts into good hearts. It might punish those who offended you or even save them from falling into the clutches of hell.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV
All I know at this point of my life is that life is too short to forsake God. He’s Holy and His power holds all dominion in heaven and on earth. However, men are not puppets, so whatever violent behaviors men show its just that; the actions of men.
Turn your eyes away from heartbreak and rest or sleep in the power of God. Overtime I pray this pain will erase and be washed, setting you free from the chains of depressions.
Take Your time healing
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,
Isaiah 61:1 NIV
I pray this deeply for you. I also pray you’ll love, forgive and have hope for the world. And if you’re in a seaosn where people are showing unkindness, I pray you’ll turn your gaze upon God. God renews your spirit, heart and mind, so you can walk out into the world again.
God breaths hope and peace, so you can be strengthened again. Then remember you’re confronted by the principalities of this world, so you do bit fight people, but the spirt of wickedness.
He said: “The Lord came from Sinai and dawned over them from Seir; he shone forth from Mount Paran. He came with myriads of holy ones from the south, from his mountain slopes.
Deuteronomy 33:2 NIV
Finally like Elijah asked God to open Elisha’s eyes to see the endless ocean of angels ready to battle. You have the army of God with you during every situation you face. This is a reminder there’s nothing that will destroy you when you call upon the name of the Lord. And in the face of adversity, you will always have a Redeemer.
The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands; the Lord has come from Sinai into his sanctuary.
Psalms 68:17 NIV
You have a Conquere who has already conquered the world. This means His love will give you all you need to rise up again from your bed and walk back confidently into the world.
“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
