A beautiful Reminder from Genesis 2 on How God Prepares and Loves you

By Zethu Zwane

I love the Lord like a circle. I was reading Genesis, just to start the year right, and mu spirit seemed to jump with joy when reading Genesis 2:5 and connecting it with Genesis 2:8. The contrast made me love God and realize we don’t deserve God. Yet this not deserving God is in a beautiful way.

After God had completed His message to me to be Strong and Courageous and He will never Leave me nor forsake me, I believe we don’t deserve God had a type of reverence. I wanted to exclaim; “Wow Abba Father we don’t deserve your love and attention.” That’s because in verse 5 God had formed the earth, but didn’t bring rain to the earth, so it still lay barren.

‭‭[5] Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground,

Genesis‬ ‭2:5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Now contrast this to verse 8 and 9 where it said God planted trees before breathing life to soil to create man. Before reading verse 5, I went to quickly look at how the earth looked like according to the Bible. Do you know it says what seperates the water above and sky is flood gates. I immediately started singing; “open the flood gates of heaven, let it rain,” by my favorite Micheal Smith

At the moment it felt like Wow God truly is a loving father. He behaved like a pregnant mother who’s preparing for her new born baby. You know when you’re single you live your life anyhow. Your house is a reflection of you and individual identity. Yet when you’re pregnant, you start to change many things.

God prepared the world for you

When you’re pregnant, you’ll go shopping to buy only the best for your baby. This is what God did. It’s also why I say we don’t deserve God in a “Wow God You’re so awesome,” because God focuses on intricate and big details of life. Before God had His first born son, look at what He does in verse 8.

‭‭[8] Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.

Genesis‬ ‭2:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Then look at what God does in verse 9; God made all kinds of trees that were pleasing to the eyes. That just warmed by spirit because it says God had ordered your steps from the very beginning. It also signifies that God is like a pregnant mom; excited and bringing only the best for her child. Why wouldn’t you want to love Abba Father more for it?

‭[9] The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The land was barren until He was reading to bring you in. You have significance in this world; don’t let anyone tell you different. Then the Alpha and Omega made perfect plans for you, which He knew He would guide you like a loving Father. Not only breathing life to you, but God also breaths wisdom into you through His perfect instructions.

Here’s to rejoining in your now

This is what I had seen when I went on a training at Hlane Royal Game Reserve. There was so much preserved order. The animals moved in sync with the land, and because Big Game Parks is on a mission to preserve this holy order, so the people move with the land. They move with nature and wildlife. Wow I love You Lord like a circle.

I hope this encourages you, someone to continue believing the Most High God has a perfect plan for you. He has ordered your steps. He will justify you. Never look at people for answers. Look to God first then ask for the right people, whom God will ordain.

Live a Life of Breakthroughs today

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬
