Recently I got asked when do you know when God answered your prayers, and the truth is I don’t really know. What I can tell you every time God dealt with my unforgiveness, people pleasing or low self-worth, I never saw the changes. Instead I would shock myself when I realised I can forgive faster and more easily. I would surprise myself when bullies continued to be hurtful, or harsh environments remained the same, but my faith and confidence were bigger.
Since I have this foundation, I use it to boost my prayer by backing my testimonies with bible verses. They call this praying God’s Word Back to Him. Ironically by pairing testimonies with bible verses, it’s helped me gain confidence that He will never fail you nor will He changed. That’s why writing your testimonies down is so important. Before I entered the wilderness season, the devil tried to convince me God will not save me like before.

And truth is every new chapter of your life comes with new challenges that are just 10x above what you’re used to. Don’t let the devil steal your healing by allowing small thoughts to carve away at your testimony! Instead you should write it down and pair it with a bible verse to see the glory of God being magnified in your situation. Learn to flood out anxieties and fears with His word and His name. Train your mind to pray bold prayers.
Be confident in your prayers because the bible says Jesus healed the man’s son the moment he had asked God to heal his son. There’s power in the name of Jesus! Put on the full Armour of God when you’re healing. And take each day as it comes. Remember the enemy will target your mind, so don’t fall for words, ideas or beliefs that take you away from God.
Cling to Him and thank Him even when you don’t see change. Believe God has already heard you just like what Jesus said and endure and persevere in your prayers. Then just like it’s happened to me countless times, you’ll enter a season seeing that certain issues that used to trigger you don’t anymore. You’ll see a difference in your emotional and spiritual responses that the blood of Jesus has freed you from condemnation and death. You’re more than a conqueror.
Healing by faith
- But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Healing by anointing

Forgiving leads to healing
- Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.

- This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.”

Heal by praying over His Word
- This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.

Trusting God no matter the season leads to healing
