Matthew 26 shows us Jesus suffered grief. Jesus has suffered pain  a loss of a loved one, betrayal and his own brutal death. When you cry you’re not crying to a distant Father who doesn’t know your pains. Instead God is near to you, holding you in His place of refuge.
